Terms of Use
Last updated October 2, 2026
MindNumb is made by Bradley Hamblin ("I", "me"). By using the app you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which covers your license to use the app. Where the two differ, these terms add to Apple's; they don't replace it.
Your account
You need to sign in to play online. Keep your account to yourself; you're responsible for what's done with it. You can delete it at any time in the app (Me → Settings → Delete account); see the Privacy Policy for what that removes.
Playing fair and being decent
Other people see your name and play against you, so please don't:
- choose a display name that's offensive, hateful, sexual, or pretends to be someone else;
- cheat: modify the app, tamper with games or scores, or use the service in ways it isn't meant to be used;
- harass other players, or try to disrupt, overload or break into the service.
The server checks finished games, and a game that breaks the rules is scored against whoever broke them. Players can report and block each other. I may remove names, results or leaderboard entries, or suspend or close accounts, that break these terms.
Free games and Unlimited
Each account can start a number of online games for free; joining a friend's game, playing the computer and the daily board are always free. Unlimited games is a one-time in-app purchase that removes the limit on starting online games. It's sold and billed by Apple, under Apple's terms; refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Use Restore purchase in Settings to unlock it on another account or phone. A purchase that's refunded may stop unlocking the game.
The service
Online play depends on servers and the internet, so it may sometimes be unavailable, and features may change. I'll try to keep things running and to give notice of big changes, but can't promise the service will always be available, or that it will run forever.
Disclaimer and liability
MindNumb is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or lost data, from using the app, and my total liability is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that can't be limited.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Continuing to use MindNumb after that means you accept them.
